Michael Welch was born in Gary, Indiana, same as Michael Jackson, but his heart belongs to Florida where he has lived since the age of 10.

His writing has penetrated The St. Pete Times (where he was employed for 2 1/2 years), Open Letters (.net), FEED, Ink19. The Weekly Planet and McSweeney's letters page and some others which he can't remember. 
 
FACTS: The $5 price includes the shipping and handling. The book is pale pink. The pink paper is the same texture as the Black Sparrow Press books. The book is 135 pages at 10 point, Goudy Old Style Font. I think it's a little too small but there's nothing I can do about it now. It is tape bound, and it looks elegant. It has a glossary with page number listings where each character or phenomena occurs. The book consists of 50% new writing. The book took a year to write and 2 months to edit, with the help of Paul Tough and Stefanie Kalem. Here are 4 stories out of the book's 56:
